How do you screen applicants?  

Once we have an applicant, we do a credit check as well as a criminal background check, which includes a check of the sex offender registry.  We also verify employment status and income.  We check for any history of eviction and finally check rental references to confirm good payment history and to ensure there are no past tenant issues.
